GRC concrete (spray)
Glassfiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC, GFRC), i.e. concrete reinforced with glass fibers, is a widely known and used trademark. In fact, this composite should be treated as a hardened cement-sand mortar with the addition of spatially dispersed glass fibers. If the binder is Portland cement, it must be AR (alkali resistant) fibers. Compared to classic mortars, this material is characterized by much better durability, strength and resistance to brittle fracture. It is a material containing only mineral raw materials, environmentally friendly, and fully reclaimable. Its variant (e-GRC), containing cements with an admixture of nanometric titanium oxide, has self-cleaning properties.
